Premiere Island Power REIT Corporation (PREIT), formerly Premiere Island Holding Corporation, was incorporated on March 4, 2022 primarily to engage in investment activities as an investment holding company. In November 2022, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the change in name to the present one and the change in primary purpose to that of a real estate investment trust company.
PREIT's principal investment mandate and strategy is to invest on a long-term basis in critical real estate and infrastructure that will enable the Company to attain its objective of contributing to the promotion of clean, renewable, and sustainable energy, as well as continue its progress on expanding social and missionary electrification.
As of December 31, 2025, the Company's property portfolio consists of land and power plant assets utilized in the power generation projects of its Sponsors, S.I. P0wer Corporation (SIPCOR) and Camotes Island Power Generation Corporation (CAMPCOR). These include: 1) the properties used in the operation of SIPCOR's heavy fuel oil-fired power plants located in Candanay Sur and Lazi, Siquijor; and 2) the properties used in the operation of CAMPCOR's power plants located in Poro and Pilar, Camotes Island, Cebu. All of the properties are leased to the Sponsors and are being used by the latter to operate the SIPCOR and CAMPCOR power plants. The Company's ultimate sponsor is Prime Asset Ventures, Inc.
